Christy Yonge was born in Abilene, Texas, and grew up in Austin.  After graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in Accounting, and earning his CPA, he went to work as an auditor for Deloitte, Haskins & Sells.  In 1991, he began investing in and rehabilitating apartment complexes in Austin and Houston.  During this time, he also began building homes in Central Austin with Pat Brian and Associates.  In 2003, he formed his own homebuilding business  - Yonge Builders, where he acted as Builder, Designer and Project Manager.

David Bratton was born and raised in Austin, Texas.   After graduating in 1988 with a B.S. in finance,  he moved to Washington, D.C., where he worked for some of the top builders in the country and he served as Production Manager over the State of Virginia for the 2006 NAHB/Builder Magazine Co-National Builder of the Year. David moved home to Austin in 2006, and started Watermark Homes in 2007.

In 2008, the lifelong best friends combined their talent and expertise to form Yonge & Bratton Homes, dedicated to providing the homeowner with a quality Custom Homebuilding or Remodeling experience.
